With a tranquil name, this Island situated at Tewantin near the mouth of the Noosa River has been purchased to create a private and unique staff retreat for Virgin Airlines.
Still in the planning stage the beautiful natural environment of this Island will be protected and enhanced through native planting and delicate design. Thatched roofed Bungalows sit atop posts and are connected with boardwalks and pathways that appear to be of the forest floor. Rainforest natives cluster around the massive pool with it’s own palm planted ‘island’. Glossy foliage planting creates a backdrop for gatherings by the pool, sunbathing and relaxing with views out to the salt water river.
When complete this escape will seamlessly incorporate Balinese architecture within an Australian coastal landscape to create an unforgettable get away.
